Being a single guy can, at times, be a great thing! No one scrutinizing your diet. Pizza for breakfast? Doughnuts and ice cream for dinner? No problems there. Traveling is also great. You can go where you want, when you want.

Depending on the time of year the single guy wants to "get away", there are fabulous vacation destinations all over the world. What follows are a select few memorable "hot spots" to consider when planning that next getaway. One helpful hint: go with a single buddy of yours. Rio de Janeiro

Known as cidade maravihosa (marvelous city), Rio is the hottest vacation destination in South America. Try going when "Carnival" is taking place, 40 days before Easter. It’s a 5-day super fiesta that’s a citywide party. The harder partiers will revel in the all-night parties that often feature great numbers of females wearing little more that their smiles, letting it "all hang out". And the beaches here are among the most fabulous in the world.

Southern California

There’s Hollywood, Disneyland, beaches, golf, fishing, and beautiful weather year-round. Take in a sporting event at the pro or collegiate level.  Disneyland and sporting events not your thing? Take a walk down the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame or go shopping along the famed Rodeo drive located in ultra-luxe Beverly Hills. Cancun

Colorado Skiing

Chicago
