Being a single guy can, at times, be a great thing! No one scrutinizing your diet. Pizza for breakfast? Doughnuts and ice cream for dinner? No problems there. Traveling is also great. You can go where you want, when you want.
Depending on the time of year the single guy wants to "get away", there are fabulous vacation destinations all over the world. What follows are a select few memorable "hot spots" to consider when planning that next getaway. One helpful hint: go with a single buddy of yours. It’s great to be able to share in making great memories with a friend. After all, who’s going to believe all those great stories you tell others after your adventures if no one is there to back them up? (think of the "if a tree falls in the forest" riddle).
So put in your vacation request early, and consider:
Rio de Janeiro
Known as cidade maravihosa (marvelous city), Rio is the hottest vacation destination in South America. Try going when "Carnival" is taking place, 40 days before Easter. It’s a 5-day super fiesta that’s a citywide party. The harder partiers will revel in the all-night parties that often feature great numbers of females wearing little more that their smiles, letting it "all hang out". And the beaches here are among the most fabulous in the world.
Southern California
There’s Hollywood, Disneyland, beaches, golf, fishing, and beautiful weather year-round. Take in a sporting event at the pro or collegiate level. Disneyland and sporting events not your thing? Take a walk down the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame or go shopping along the famed Rodeo drive located in ultra-luxe Beverly Hills. There is always something fun to do in beautiful Southern California.
Cancun
Cancun conjures up images of crystal blue Caribbean waters, white sandy beaches and an electric nightlife! Before you saddle up for a night of fun and partying, why not rent a wave runner for the afternoon or perhaps go parasailing? The water sport options in Cancun are virtually endless. You also have the option of taking a trip to the Mayan ruins. And of course, no trip to Cancun is complete without a trip to Senor Frogs. The bar scene here is always hopping and the staff are very friendly. Trying arranging your Cancun vacation through olympus-tours.com or other quality tour company.
Las Vegas
A veritable playground for the party set, Las Vegas is known for its grand casinos and 24/7 gambling and wide assortment of buffets. There are an astounding 76 casinos on or near the Strip and downtown. Sin City is also known for its hot nightlife scene, which includes XS, located at the Wynn Encore, Hakkasan at the MGM Grand and the unique Light, housed inside Mandalay Bay.
Colorado Skiing
Vail and Aspen are the most popular, but Colorado has 28 ski resorts. Try one of the "lesser-known" ski venues such as Crested Butte Mountain Resort located in Crested Butte. This former mining town located about 4 hours outside of Denver is noted for its laid-back but funky vibe. Best of all? It’s rarely crowded.
Chicago
The “Windy City” features beautiful beaches along Lake Michigan’s shoreline. Parks, museums, and 5 professional sports teams to watch are great daytime activities, and with many bars that stay open until 4am, great times can be enjoyed from sun-up until well after sundown. And of course, no trip to Chicago would be complete without a delicious deep dish pizza. Try Lou Malnat’s Pizzeria, Giordano’s or Gino’s East for the real deal.
So call your buddy and plan that trip. Book your tickets early. Make those hotel reservations. Get out there and have a great "single guy" vacation! Who knows how many more chances you may get?
